Viktor and Marie Andonz is seen posing with the octopus that Marie was pregnant with and delivered. Last summer the couple were vacationing on the Black Sea. Marie says she felt something brush up against her legs while bathing in the waters. She was announced pregnant in August and gave birth to the octopus in February. The octopus was pronounced dead upon birth but the couple have kept it in an aquarium in their Gyor apartment (Gyor is another city in Hungary) Doctors are unsure how this could have occurred but Viktor believes that a male octopus was what Marie felt on her legs and it was at that time that the animal impregnated her.

He reports that the Express Hirdetes newspaper mainly runs classified ads and is not the main paper of Budapest. Gyor is also considered a 'backward' city by Budapest standards and is often made fun of by city residents.

Inquiries by Mark at the newspaper office were not answered and there is no telephone listing for a Viktor or Marie Andonz in Gyor or Budapest. This is not highly unusual since the telephone system is just now being upgraded from the state it was in during the Warsaw pact years. A quick search on the web revealed no other mentions of this article.
