FRIEND OR FOE20 QUESTIONS
A couple of months ago I ran an article about Presidential canidate R.U. Sirius. Well since then R.U. and myself have been engaged in some top level meetings and after some soul searching (and a promise of some serious kickbacks if elected) I've decided to throw my support to this campaign. With this in mind, I'm more than happy to allow Mr. Sirius the chance to publish his manifesto on my website. Forget those other guys, here's a man who proudly flies the freak flag. Here is R.U. Sirius!

The Revolution Party Policy Statement Against Government Secrecy
by The Revolution Party Presidential candidate R.U. Sirius and Kenn Thomas

Release The Files!

Conspiracy and cover up have destroyed our open and free-minded democratic culture. Let's end unnecessary secrecy! By opening up the files of our various 3-and-4 letter semi-secret police agencies we can recover the hidden and lost history that has characterized our government's action. This central principal has not been addressed by any candidate so far: we demand the systematic opening up of all secret government files.

RELEASE THE FILES! The Revolution Party demands the release of all government files pertaining to political assassinations from the 1960s to the present. We also call for the release of all government files pertaining to parapolitics and the paranormal. What about the military use of remote viewing, and the CIA studies that were hyped to the press as disproving psychic phenomena, when in fact the studies did the opposite? What about the "Manchurian Candidate" efforts at creating brainwashed assassins? When it comes to paranormal powers, what might we citizens now learn, that might serve us in our lives, and in our understanding of ourselves?

The Revolution Party also calls for the release of all government files documenting the surveillance and harassment of independent thinkers and social critics. Not just famous dissidents like Timothy Leary, Huey Newton, John Lennon, and Fox Muldur, but citizen info junkies like Derek Barnes, common folk with desktops full of conspiracy related web site bookmarks. Barnes and many like him -- average everyday workers -- find themselves spied upon by trap door, two-way browser software. All US citizens are snooped on thanks to that science-fiction nightmare -- the infamous ECHELON spy satellite system.

Let this presidential election be about citizen privacy and freedom -- the end of the surveillance society and the release of everything that has been collected under the cloak of conspiracy. Let's have every scrap of information about secret government, tax-dollar involvement in the things that our government has denied.

Let's get all the data about that infamous government brainwashing project, MKULTRA, where our leaders experimented on and crushed the sanity of unsuspecting US citizens. Many of those files were destroyed and the program transformed itself under other names. We have reason to suspect the mind warping experiments continued! We also know about the Pentagon's early interest in developing a bioweapon to affect the immune system. Let's look at the files and decide for ourselves if this has anything to do with the AIDS epidemic! We have serious suspicions that men like Sirhan Sirhan, John Hinckley and Mark David Chapman underwent MKULTRA-styled brainwashing in order to carry out their infamous crimes. And what sort of evil psychic manipulation could possibly induce people to buy the recordings of Billy Joel!?? While paper trails have no doubt been destroyed in these and other instances, somewhere in the vast government record, some information may emerge to help the average US citizen know, understand and defeat such activity.

In the wake of Watergate - and despite entrenched resistance to the very idea of conspiracy, parapolitics, and the paranormal among mainline politicians and media -- strides were made against the secrecy of the super state. The Freedom of Information Act was established. More recently the Assassinations Material Review Board was created, and President Clinton signed new executive orders to declassify some files documenting the malfeasance of the CIA and other US intelligence agencies. These actions of democratic principle have been helpful in uncovering pieces of the truth. However, police agencies such as the FBI and CIA have learned to stall and duck and hide behind feeble excuses. Despite Clinton's new declassification rules, CIA teams worked around the clock to thoroughly redact documents or prevent their release. It's clear that wimpy moderates like Clinton and Gore will never muster up the courage to force the end of secrecy. Only a citizen's movement, a free information revolution, can give us back our history!

Enough of this Gush versus Bore sleep-a-thon, with their hypnotic blather about drug prescriptions and social security. This great country was once about freedom! RELEASE THE FILES! That's where the information is. That's where the key to a free society lies hidden.
