10th anniversary of the national release of The Blair Witch Project! Crazy, eh?

Dan and I are celebrating today by hanging out in Burkittsville and the other old haunting grounds of the Blair Witch. We’re working on some new ideas for a new film that we hope to get going very soon. First collaboration between us since the original BW film. Can’t say more, but hope to be able to say more soon!

Hey! Josh Leonard has a new, low-budget indie film called HUMPDAY that is coming out wider and wider over the next few weeks. The more support it gets now, the better it’s chances of going wide, so try to give it some love when it comes to your town. I haven’t seen the film yet but hear it’s really, really great. Please support it if you can!

And speaking of Josh Leonard, he’s going to be at the midnight showing of The Blair Witch Project on Saturday, July 18th at the IFC Center in NYC. We’re showing the original Sundance print for the first time in ten years! That’s right, you can see the original cut of the film before it was bought by Artisan. First show is Friday, July 17th. This thing is due out in October at around the same time that SEVENTH MOON premieres on DVD!
