Is there anyway we can write FOX and let them know there are devoted fans of Freakylinks and ask if they could give us permission to post or revive the website? I mean, they did let go of the domain name. Maybe they are ready to completely wash their hands of it. I know people have all of the website. I have alot of it. We could create a collective group and oversee the site. Just suggestions. Worth a try.

http://www.haxan.com/portfolio/freakylinks/The site is already back up, I think the only things which have been removed are the audio on entries where there had been talking before. What I'm curious about is why the audio had to be removed, but the images of the actors on the site can remain. Do they not fall under the same rules that prevent the audio from remaining?

Are you sure that audio isn't up? I'm tooling around Freakopedia entries looking for one of those, but I don't believe those audio files were removed intentionally (at least not by this geek.) Edit: nope, those audio files are still up there, they just weren't on all the entries. I remembered there was one on this entry (which, BTW, is one of personal favoriates, especially with the Diaries that led up to it, along with this one that got out of control and this one which is 100% true!

Yeah, who knows if those scripts from 2001 will recognize the browser types right on some of the newer browsers

I'm using Mozilla currently (IE was pissing me off way too much.) And so far the site has worked fine for me. The links listed where there was audio in the background, it did work. So far everything's worked. Even the "whoopsie" links to this forum (previously linked to the forum at fl.com) Mozilla rocks so far btw. ~Mia

You guys have now idea how happy I am for all of this! I got so excited when I first found out in school (in the library using the comp), I ran out and immediately told a friend of mine while dancing and jumping and singing and falling to my knees...I'm like that all the time, but this has a reason now! THANNNNNNKKKKK YOOOUUUUU!!!!!!!!
I love you guys!
Love you love you love you love you love you! I love all my FL friends, and I love both brians, and all the haxan guys...anyone else I missed? Well, basically everyone involved...I feel so loving today!

ok, thanks Mia, maybe I'll do some tinkering around in Mozilla first then. Everything else seems to work, the music on the opening pages, the "come in, and I'll show you everything you need to know, the "whoopsie" link when you try to click on the FL forums that leads you to here, only thing I can't get is the audio on those certain entries.

So far everything's worked. Even the "whoopsie" links to this forum (previously linked to the forum at fl.com) We've actually got the archives of the old fl.com forums as well (heh heh), but when I was uploading the site here the first time it ran out of disk space and something had to go

So you're the Brian, Brian Cain, who wrote all the diary entries and stuff on the site right?
If you are, I've been wondering if you ever wrote anything else...and what have you been doing/writing post freakylinks...cause I've done searches with your name and have come up with nothing.
Plus, is there any chance that eventually you could put the old discussion boards back up or is there no chance of that at all?
Finally, to all you Haxan people, I feel like I'm being selfish by asking this....but could you also archive the other sites like Occultresearch and Creepyclicks and stuff?
P.S. I am so freaken happy that the site is back up, you guys have no idea!!!! Finally I could show all my friends why this show/site excited me so much!!! Thank you guys so much for bringing it back.

WELCOME, 007soildsnake.. it's great to see recognizable screen-names when the new folkses show up-- I hope everybody registers under the ol' names!!
Actually, per the thread 'solving the Brian mystery' "brian" is brian Clark... Brian Cain is registered as 'brian_c'.
You may have better luck finding him on the web, by looking for his nickname 'Razen Cain'.

I showed one of my friends and he said I was a geek, haha. Then I did an equation showing him how he's a geek too if he hangs out with me...of course, I forgot that equations are the type of things geeks do. He said the site was okay though.
I have a question: Was there ever a "sickanddisgusted.com?" I know there was a "sickanddisgustING.com," but that one was taken down and I wondered if it had anything to do with freakylinks. I never went to the site because back then I was actually hesitant when considering viewing dead bodies and such. Well, I'm still hesitant today, but more so back then. It would be a strange coincidence if they "made up" the site for the show, and it turned out to be real.
