SpaceMonkey's post in the backroom made me realize how great it would be to have a board devoted to "Freakylinks."

Look for Gregg, Brian C, and others who were involved in freakylinks to drop in and hang out.

Enjoy!

I made my way over here. Hello Mr. Haxan person. You may not know me, but I was a proud and devoted fan to FreakyLinks. I've got every episode on tape. I fell in love with the first episode, and I still love the show...ah, how I miss it. Well, it was fun while it lasted, and it's too bad FOX can't keep a good show on the air for 4 episodes or so. People have no taste. FL was original, special, and genius material...at least for me...but I was an advanced 8th grader when I first saw it! I was ahead of my time...I guess...well, anyway...great show, great site, a shame it had to go, and I'm happy that I met such good people on my "journey." I will say, and I am serious, that FreakyLinks changed my life. That's right, FREAKYLINKS changed my life...

Seriously...it really did.

And hi SpaceMonkey!

Hey Spacemonkey (and any other freaky fans that drop by), I'll try to get as many of the FL folks on this board as possible: David Goyer (uncredited co-creator), Brian Cain (the on-line voice of Derek), and David Simkins (who ran the show and wrote the best episodes).

Hi! You know, I've always wanted to talk to Brian. I just don't think I'd know what to say to him if he did come  Smiley . But hey, I have the rest of this message board's life and his time here to say what I need. It's odd how everything I've been wanting to do since I was 13 is now appearing right before me...back then I begged for the FL site not to shut down...haha. I guess sticking with it gives you SOME reward. I even remember trying to buy the scripts off of ebay...was it brian who was selling them? I was a desperate kid...well, now I'm able to talk to the people involved. This is truly a happy time.

Also, I'm sure once I get into the smooth of things here I'll act more "normal..." I'm a new member. I've go to try to fit into the grooves of the board.

As well as everyone else here I am overl joyed to see this area up and going. As a contenues Fan of FreakyLinks I will be hanging out here as well as my own site, which is my dedication in contenuing the legend of FreakyLinks, www.freakopedia.com.
I got to talk to Brian once many years ago when i bought a t-shirt from him and was surprised when a box full of FL t-shirts showed up. Lucky surfers of my website gained these t-shirts in a hope to always promote FreakyLinks.
I look forward to speaking to the rest of those who worked on FreakyLinks.

Not to confuse people (as this is the other Brian ... Brian C. who was involved on the Web side), but many of those who were involved in FL have been chatting with you for years (and sitting on some of the same mailing lists as you favorite Freaks) and you just didn't know who we were.

the Other Brian (why am I always the "other Brian")?

You mean the derek barnes brian? I never knew there were two brians...hmm...interesting...

It all matches up. You're the one I've been searching for. Now I shall say what I've been wanting to say to you for years...hello.

I did it! I actually did it! Haha! Unless you're not him...still, hello.

I'm currently reading "Cryptozoology, A-Z" (well, dabbling in it at least), and I'm happy I got around to learning about Loren Coleman from freakylinks. I think, since I live in Maine, I'll visit his museum sometime...I'm so happy he lives here...I'm starting to think the world revolves around me now that I seem to be getting what I've always wanted...

Yes, soon I will control it.

I don't think the html code is gonna work-- but here's the Fever's old list of Freakylinks links... (echo?) I'm not sure they are all still active. Back in the Fever days, this was every Freaker-site I could find, or knew about.

Edited to add-- fixed them so you can actually just click on the ones that DO work!!

Lovely, lovely, lovely.

With the last site, I guess you can get yourself around from that page. I had trouble finding a way to have all the pages listed so you can access all of them, but I think this works well enough too.

Ah, the freakylinkers' family reunion. Pass the potato salad please.

Can you explain what happened to your site?
