I realize it's been about (checks his watch) eleventy-seven million years since I last posted, so I thought I'd shoot you all a message.
I've been working for a website doing video editing (More stuff for my reel, whee!), and before J asks, no it's not porn.... Not yet at least.... mwahahahahahaha...
Anyway, as for as the writing goes... I have a director interested in one of my scripts ("Peace and Quiet" Luny!), so we'll see how that goes.
Well... I need to get back to work, but I thought I'd at least let you know that I'm alive and not living in my car anymore.
Oh... and this weekend... VEGAS BABY!!!!

Why do you automatically assume I'd say that?

A writers life is so hard knock. I find it hard to get the inspirations even when being called. I was asked to provide a pitch for "Hammer Films" like three or four weeks ago. They are starting up again. And they are doing their first films in Australia.
I've written half a treatment. Then I'm just like. Oh. What's this life for. Hammer changed horror. It's hard to do that again. so I keep ripping it up. And looking for a way for them to do it again.

Nice to see you again, Bunkwitch. Congrats on the director being interested! I'm still waiting for someone to discover me walking on the streets of Maine... "You there! Yes you! With the colorful clothing and very short hair! YOU'RE IN MY NEXT FILM!!!!" I am pretty interesting to overhear in a conversation with someone...why wouldn't a director randomly choose me for the next lead role? Well, I hope everything works out well for ya. And enjoy VEGAS BABY!!!!

I'll address the responses one at a time...
J: Because I've known you longer than ten minutes.
Luny: I'm not breaking anything. I don't have medical insurance. Blah.
Loilarka: I never got into the Hammer films (Which is odd, considering my love of Peter Cushing), although I think doing a Hammer re-vamp (No pun intended) might be fun. It could be like Van Helsing... Minus the shitty CGI and script! And the acting!
Where are you located at?
Linsey: I hate to poo-poo on your dreams of being discovered, but there are hundreds of thousands of girls walking the streets of L.A. right now (And no, they aren't hookers, J) who all fit that description. So the odds of it happening in Maine are... Well... I'm just saying... I'd be very wary of any person who pulls young girls off of the streets of Maine. In fact, I'm sure the last time a girl was picked up off of the street in Maine... It wasn't for an acting gig.
Get involved in local community theater. Study your ass off. Build up your resume. Then get out to New York or L.A.
Take it easy guys!

Thanks, Mike.
This guy who's interested in my script... He's pretty established (Can't name names yet, unfortunately), so fingers are crossed and all that jazz.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go pretend like I'm working for a couple of hours (When all I'm really doing is watching some kid play the Super Mario Medley on the piano blindfolded over and over... oh how I wish I could play like him), then it's Vague-ass time, baby!
I'm gonna lose so much money... hehehe... Which is pretty bad.... Since I have none.

Haha, actually, I was joking. I know no director is gonna be in Maine. MAINE SUCKS. Besides, if they did ask me to be in a movie...I'd be very hesitant, because most likely it'd be for a porno flick. After all, I am sexay...then again, you don't have to be sexy to be in a porno... And the chances of me being discovered while walking on a street are slim. After all, I don't get out of the house. But, I am happy for you being discovered. Keep up the good work. And I think of the Super Mario Bros. theme as being...inspiring. Now, someone needs to go get an icecream sandwich...Linsey needs to go get an icecream sandwich... If only there were icecream sandwiches in this house!

I did a porno once as well. It had midgets on tricycles.
I think it was supposed to be arty.
I still can't watch The Wizard of Oz without crying out in fear, though.
