Have you seen "The Cremator". I think it is a Portugese flick. I ask only because the Brisbane International Film Festival is playing it, and you are from Portugal?
Other then that. Haxan are a pretty creative team, they may run out of ideas some day. But until that day comes, you are best to find a producer some place, who is a work-a-holic, who has money to burn.
Or, go and find a producer in your own country, that may have links to offshore producers. I mean, they will help you out for 2% of the budget, give you 3% and producers profits (book conversions) as long as they are script editor. You need a person as a platform for your idea/script.
I think selling screenplays is a terribly hard business to get into. Try turning it into a book, then when they want to turn it into a movie, you have a book already.
Other tips. Begin a website that hypes the film up before it is even shot. Worked for a film a few years ago.
Eat raw eggs, directly from shells, don't let them task plastic, nor paucelin.
Always, start your script with one of the following. A: Sex Scene B: Car Chase C: Someone saying swear words in between flash cuts of someone being mutilated. D: A slow pan over grassy hills. E: Never ever stuff with continuity, so don't start at the end. It's been done to death:) F: Someone going about their daily business, and then a pizza they didn't order arrives. G: A cop catching the guy with my Xbox, and pummeling him, then bringing him round to my place and letting me have a go.

Don't take my word for it.
I'm neither successful or goodlooking.
At this rate there will never be a Loilarka Jr.
The best thing to do is write and rewrite, come up with new ideas, and always have them close at hand for when opportunity raises its head.
There are a lot of movies made every year. Thousands. So there is very good chance that one of those thousands could be your idea, and it might not be in the too distant future.

EyesofaCriminal,
We're up to our eyeballs in work right now.
I suggest you write the script and then see about getting it out to people. If you can't write, then find someone who can. We really can't do much with an idea.

Love Zombie films. Missed out on seeing the Cremator. I'll keep an eye out for that one though.
Been playing Doom 3 can't get enough of Zombies. They're so funny.

Love Zombie films. Great. If my "Dusk of the undead" ever gets made, promise me you'll buy a beta tape copy?

As long as the zombies are cannibalistic. I'm there.
A non cannibal zombie just is hard for me to believe.
Oh and they've got to have super human strength, but also have a brittle constitution. So they are easy to attack. This makes it easier for them to be heaps.
They can't be the real life frog voodoo poisoned zombies, I don't buy that. Not for a second. DNA testing has conclusively shown in all recorded testers that the Zombies were BSing for a place to stay and the family members were lying to themselves when they said that, that person was their son/mother/father/daughter/friend risen from the grave.
