*got the obscure gamer reference* Now what does that tell you about me?  Roll Eyes

AAAAARRRGH!!!!!  That all your base are belong to us!  And that perhaps I owe you a beer or flag...

Or you owe me lessons in Japanese!

Or, you're a 'real gamer', attached to a gamer or attached to a game right now as I type this.

I know it wasn't all *that* obscure, Muse, they made a song out of it (sorta a rave thing).   I won't guess your age if you leave mine out of it  Smiley

Seriously, I am still finding my way around this new site here,  and am interested in your nic, I just chose mine because I can remember it.

I know there is an AYB music/swf file thing, is that what you mean? With AYB appearing on all kinds of signs and other weird places? And my age... just might surprise you... Wink

You wanna know about my nick? That's kind of a long story, do you really wanna hear? Tongue

Oh yes, and I do actually read a few japanese characters, I used to know a lot more but I forgot. Grin

*As Spike might say, I'll bite...  do you have a small circle/birthmark type thing on your left or right arm?

*yes, is this the right place to talk about it or will the Haxan Powers tell us to start another string?

Ah yes, Zero Wing was the name of that game. The ultra-wrong translation that has achieved cult status among games fans... But where did "a winner is you" come from?

My brain is fried with the 'mundane' world tonight or I'd have that answer in at least two guesses.
It may just be my friends playing fast and loose with  appropriate Japanese grammer-- they know I didn't study it full time  Angry

Still, yes, if this is the right party line to ask, I do again about your nic Smiley

And your age, too, since you didn't answer my giveaway questions re: US born signifiers of age, subcategory innoculations. Tongue

Oh, haha, I never saw your questions there, as they were inside the quote I guess I missed them. US signifiers of age don't apply to me anyway, as I'm not US-born. Smiley

As for my nick... Alright. I've been watching the show Andromeda for a while now, and have a favorite character in it - Harper. I went onto an Andromeda board, and thought it would be cool to have the nickname "Harper's Muse", as in one episode someone mentions something about his twin muses (caffeine and chaos). Since then, whenever I go into a new board, I pick an appropriate variation of that. So here, I ended up  as Muse of Freaks (how original). And there you go.

As for my age, that's probably not that exciting. I'll be 20 for about two more days, at which point it will be my birthday and I'll be 21 (obviously).

Alright, that's all you need to know about Muse right there.
