This, I believe is a question for Gregg.

My new screenplay deals with a real cemetery in my home town.  I have launchedhttp://www.spidergates.com to chronicle the investigation.  My agent is working through some legal stuff, but I was wondering if you had any advice from your own "web-reality-fiction" experience.  Thanks.

I've heard about Spidergates many times, but have never actually headed out there.  I've seen all the maps and whatnot, but just have never gotten around to wandering out.  Since it's private property and all, I've been leery of just traipsing out into someone's land.  Even though I'd mean no harm to do so.  You mentioned your agent is dealing with the legalities. I would presume that they're talking with the owners of the place?  Have they been interested/cooperative? I live in Shrewsbury, not that far from there, myself.

We've been in touch with the owners.  I'll be posting their rules regarding visits.   My interests are in investigating not only the actual cemetery but the myth surrounding it.  It looks like right now, it'll be a tough road to conduct a full investigation.

Shrewsbury, huh?  Great town.  I went to high school at St. John's.

What year?  I went to a writer's conference at St. John's while I was in highschool.  I went to Shrewsbury High.  I love it here.

And that's cool about posting the rules.  If visits are allowed at all, I'd be interested in following whatever rules they have.

There are some interesting places tucked all around the area.  A friend of mine and I wandered off a little trail that's barely marked and headed into the woods off of Route 20 and found a marker in the middle of the woods for a woman who had died, I guess trying to escape her house during a fire. But that's all there is, a marker in the middle of the woods down a little dirt trail off the road.  Now, I didn't hear of any myths about it being haunted or anything.. but it was an interesting place.
