Cheesy Omg that is so Awesome FC !!! I've MISSED Spring Heeled Jack!!! This is such a wonderful treat!

Oh! and while we're on the subject of "Awesome"... I've been playing with my new gift since x-mas day:

"Elder Scrolls V: Skyrym"

Shocked Oh my God... I can NOT put this game down. It is THAT awesome! My character's name is: "Garnette"... she is a Nord (human) with demonic black eyes, and she lookes EXACTLY like me (minus the eyes, of course lol). And right now, I'm just traveling the realm, strengthing my one-handed sword ability, and magic ability -all while laying giant dragons to waste!  Cool

It's been a nice Christmas.

Happy New Year everyone! I think we've recovered from New Year's but all gone into hibernation for the winter. Smiley  I know I've been like Garnet and video gaming since Christmas.

Fallout 3 and L.A. Noire have had my full attention. The detail of L.A. Noire is incredible! 90% of it is supposed to be an accurate recreation of 1947 Los Angeles. It's pretty wild! It's not Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemption though.

<mini rant>I also have a huge issue with video game companies farming out levels as store exclusives. They sell you 75% of the game on initial release, then slowly rolling out those levels on the game system store until they're ready to release the "complete edition" six months after the original release. The customer should have had the whole game to begin with. The download content is such a huge scam, but you just know you want to play it. Money, money, money. </mini rant>

I haven't been into the big scale RPG games like Oblivion and Skyrym so Fallout 3 is a first. The game is massive!!! I'm going to loose so many hours with that thing.

Anyhow, I hope all is well among the freaks.

Ohhhh Shadow...  Roll Eyes  you have No idea... Fall Out 3 is the first ever NON-Final Fantasy, Non-Silent Hill game that's ever caused me to sacrifice sleep! Cheesy
When my mom first bought it for me, I was like: "Seriously???" But after I got past the 'Supermarket Mission' for that redheaded chick from MegaTown, I was HOOKED! I lost count over how many hours and hours and hours, I've put into this game. But I CAN tell you, I've pulled a lot of all-nighters (some of which, didn't end until 3:30am). Same goes for Fall Out: New Vegas  and right now: Elder Scrolls: SKYRIM
Grin So Yes! I'm very excited for you Shadow. Keep me posted on your progress, and let me know if you need any help with Fall Out 3. And DEFINITELY get the other downloads like: THE PITT, BROKEN STEEL, OPERATION ANCORAGE, and POINT LOOKOUT PointLookout is my favorite!!!!

It's games like this that you wish could be new to you again and again once you're finished with them. I was that way with the original Deus Ex.

Yeah, it's a little slow going up to the Supermart mission but improves when you actually get some weapons and fighting skill.

I heard Fallout: New Vegas was super glitchy. I'll have to check it out sooner or later though. I understand an "ultimate edition" is coming out for it in Feb.

Luckily the copy I got was the "Game of the Year" edition and it's got everything.

I'll keep you updated on my sleep deprived adventures.  Roll Eyes Grin

re: FallOut 3 downloads...  Cry sadly... I never got a chance to buy the download: Mothership Zita (and I -REFUSE- to spend lots of money on a disk that contains downloadable content I ALREADY HAVE just to get the Spaceship mission). I can't upgrade to a better xbox yet, that would allow me to download stuff online due to financial issues. ce' la vie...

But yes, Fallout Vegas had its issues, But I still had a lot of fun playing through it. (Okay I haven't ACTUALLY solved that one yet, but I'll get to it, when I get to it.)

SPOILER ALERT: If you want to save yourself a world of frustration & hard fighting, play as a "woman". When I later confronted the 'wanna-be' Mo Greene punk who shot me in the head and buried me alive in the desert, I used the "Black-Widow Perk" on him in his casino and seduced him. After a Blacked Out/Censored 'night of passion', I was given the option of either 'falling asleep' or 'Killing him in his sleep'. Needless to say, I went O-Ren Ishi on that character, and recovered the stolen platinum chip! My other friend was jealous that I pulled that off, without having to fight my way out of the casino. I told him: "You should have played as a girl. Girls get whatever they want -most of the time, lol  Wink
