"What IF..."

He guys, I was just sitting here, thinking to myself: "What if it really happened?...What IF FOX decided to resurrect Freaky Links?" (this includes: getting the original cast and creators back on board)... I ask you: Do you think it would work?

Me, personally? I'm split 50/50.

 I think it could be a success. But I think that would depend [heavily] on the writing. The actors are much older now, so the stories and the mythology would have to reflect this. I can see Derek Barnes, perhaps, a little more mature, due to the passing of time, although not completely grown up. I think it would be very interesting to see how these charaters have grown, since: "The Final Word".  Did the team stay together? Or had they gone their seperate ways (Depending on how the new series would start)?

I think the "new show" would have a 50% chance of succeeding, provided that the stories are good, and the tv time slot was desireable... and We as fans,would have to accept the fact that this new show [and its characters] won't be quite the same...

But I Still think the show could work, with the original cast, regardless if Ethan's showing his age. I think it would add a whole new dimension to the story arch...

He's only 32... He's not THAT old.. he's a decade older than me. Which actually just hit me... it's been a decade since he did the freakylinks thing, which puts me- an actual paranormal webhost- at the same age as Derek Barnes... sweet.

LoL that is crazy.  But I'm surprised re: Ethan only 32!    Crap!  I'm a hop, skip, and a jump away from the big: 3-0, and I'm not looking forward to it!
