Mondo, Shadow... I'm always available to help if you gents need it. I mean most of my time now-a-days is spent writing, whether it's code for one of my sites, a story for FreakCentral, or a script for Timacious Productions... I'm generally writing. So let me know if you need any additional help.

Now to be fair, we never said we were writing anything. I did say that something called the Harbingers was coming soon and there will be an article on freakylinks.tv involved but no, we're not writing an intentionally bad horror novel that keeps otherworldly creatures at bay. Just to clarify. Now I return you to letting your imaginations run amuck.

(intentionally still vague)

Not as such. Mondo, is actually handling the creative bulk of this project and I'm assuming he's been busy recently. I do have a portion that was intended for a FreakyLinks.tv article that I may post here if there's no forward momentum on this project.

Just file it under the many things us freakers would like to get done, like recreating the Monster Freaks website, new FreakyLinks website entries, or the comic book. -sigh- We've got the notions but I think all of our creative juicies tend to ebb, myself included.

Sorry freaks, I haven't been around for a while. I have a new business I am running and it has taken every ounce of time I have. So everything I was doing up until then is on hold for me. Glad to see everyone still here and chatting away. I will try and stop by from time to time when time does permit.

Thanks for your offer, FC! Thing is this is more of a graphic design project than a writing exercise.

We invisioned a prop accurate book dust jacket of The Harbingers that could be put on a common bestseller. By size, I figured with lots of research that the 4th or 5th Harry Potter hardcover would make a great stand-in. They're fairly common, affordable, and roughly the correct size.

Being the design artist, Mondo was the natural choice and got some good rough samples together. As with life, things come up and the project is presently back burnered. I think our biggest stumbling block was how to get the finished product out to the freaks that want them.

One thought was that we could make it downloadable, but the finished product would only be as good as your printer. Another was to have it printed through CafePress which would provide a delivery system. Thing is, I'm not sure CafePress offers poster prints in the size and length we'd need. Having this project printed like real book dust jackets was another option, but that could easily run into the money with no easy way to deliver it.

So there you have it, a good idea that looked easy enough on the surface but ran into complications. Any of your thoughts or ideas to further the project are welcome.
