Hi guys. It's been a while... Just wondering how everybody was doing.

News-wise: sadly nothing interesting. Scratching & surviving, writing whenever time permits, and eagerly anticipating SILENT HILL: HD collection, RESIDENT EVIL: OPERATION RACOON CITY. I know I'll probably regret this, but I chose NOT to reserve SILENT HILL: DOWNPOUR; considering how I got burned with HOMECOMING & SHATTERED MEMORIES, I figured I better sit this one out. Other than that, not much going on. How's everybody else?

Hey Garnet!

Things have been a little crazy for me recently but I just keep on freakin'. Grin

I'm still playing at FALLOUT 3. Fantastic game, but at this rate I better not mess with New Vegas for some time.

Grin Btw/  Love the Avatar, Shadow. And no I don't own Downpour yet, cuz I got burned on Homecoming & Shattered Memories. But I DO have the new HD Collection. So far I like it.

Thanks! Nothing says Easter like a psycho, creepy rabbit. Smiley

Silent Hill HD Collection is a total mess of problems and glitches for PS3. Besides the game freezes and poor frame rate, I'm not even sure I like that they re-cast the voice artists for the HD collection. It feels like too much tampering for me. So I'm gonna pass.

I'm like you and feel somewhat burned by Homecoming & Shattered Memories. The Room and Origins were the last, really good Silent Hill games.

I've given Downpour a look and I'll probably pick it up eventually. I'm real surprised that the game has a new music composer. The last of "Team Silent" seems to have left the building.

Don't even get me started on Silent Hill Book of Secrets, the multiplayer shooter. Silent Hill is not that sort of franchise. Embarrassed

(Meh, they're ruining all the old game franchises anyway. Just look at Tomb Raider and Max Payne.)

Between the real lack of the "gotta have it" factor and the flim-flam they play with DLC, I can afford to wait 6-12 months for a game to go cheaper these days.

Heck, I keep meaning to pick up Heavy Rain and that's got some age on it now. I think the only thing that's peaked my interest on the horizon is GTA 5. I'd really like for them to get back to what they had in San Andreas, plus some.

For now I'll keep on as the savior of the Wasteland. Forget about playing it through again any time soon as an evil character. Tongue

 Grin Hey Shadow!!!

Glad to hear you're enjoying FallOut 3. I must have spent two years playing that game, It's VERY addictive. Did you ever get yourself a Mr.Gutsy companion?

I'm almost finished with SH2 with the New voice mode, and "Yes" I agree with you about the new voices. I mostly got this game, cuz: 1. too lazy to go back & forth from the XBOX360 to the PS2; 2: I always wanted to play the "Maria" scenario & get the UFO ending. I DO like how they added some creepy sounds here and there, where I least expected it. I'll check out SH3 when I try those two things first.

I'm actually disappointed they didn't INCLUDE The Room and Origins -sigh- Oh well... Wink
