If we can figure out a way to do it, it would be great. Here's the problem -- I'm in Orlando, as is Rob. Gregg is currently in NYC, Ed lives in Maryland, and Dan is in LA.

We continue to work with each other on projects, but often via phone, email, ichat (these new isight cameras are killer).

So getting EVERYONE to sign might be tough.

Maybe if anyone has some ideas?

Hmmmmm.... let's think about this....

Oh Mike, I am so excited that you agree this would be a fun and great thing to do! Cheesy I realize it will be a little difficult to get everyone to sign but you know what I thought...why don't we make this like a scavenger hunt? Well, maybe not a scavenger hunt, but I certainly don't mind mailing my autographed Blair Witch memorabilia around to all you guys to collect all the sigs. Imagine all the miles the parcel will travel just to get to each one of you, it's mindboggling!. Wink Here's the thing, instead of me sending it to you and you sending it back to me and me sending to Ed, etc., why don't we do it this way...for instance, I'll include enough unused stamps to cover the postage from me to you and to each one of the Haxan guys (5 in total). You sign and mail it to the next person to sign, who mails it to the next person, etc. The last person to sign sends it back to me. Anyone who wants to participate will do the same in whichever order. We will include all the postage. The problem is the tube or the packaging. We need to use reusable packaging. What do you think about this idea? Is it too complicated? Please let me know. Wink

Oh yeah, to make it interesting, we should each send 5 little trinkets, as simple as a plastic glow in the dark compass to the first person who will chose a trinket and send the rest on, in other words, a trinket for an autograph! Cheesy Is this too silly?? Cheesy

I'm afraid of stuff getting lost in the mail or worse -- lost under the pile of crap that is called "my desk!"

We are working on something right now for members of this board that FREAKYLINKS fans are gonna LOVE, then we'll figure out this autograph thing.

I think what would be best is to find something that can be sent around in a big group, and then stored here in Orlando, so people send in a SASE and get an  autographed object. The only problem with that is the autographs won't be personalized.

No personalized autographs? Huh Oh darn. I was kinda hoping for the real McCoy. Wink I believe in the US mail. One of my many functions at work is mailing back to our guests their lost belongings. I can mail 4-5 or more items a week and everything from cell phones to chargers, to jewelry, to clothes, gets to everyone I mail it back to, and I've been doing this for years. What you really need Mike, is a secretary, a personal assistant. Smiley If you like, I will be more than happy to forward to you my credentials and such and offer you my volunteer services if you like, at no cost to you and your affiliations. All I ask for is a real autograph, you know, the real McCoy. (wink, wink) Grin

Mike, I was thinking, time to bribe, if we get you to agree to authentic autographs, I promise to mail you a personal video I shot inside Rustin Parr's house. It's about 30-45 minutes long. It starts outside the house, in through the basement and all the way up to the top floor. I think it might be interesting for you guys to see the house in more detail before it got torn down. The ending of this video is kinda funny. I know Luna wants a copy. Ok, I'll send you one too! Wink Just don't laugh! Wink

They would be real autographs, signed by Ed, Dan, and everyone else, they just wouldn't be personalized, like "To EllysOwl..." which in all truth they probably wouldn't be anyways, due to time. It's easier for us to sit down and sign a bunch of things at once and mail them all than to do a little bit each week and deal with the post office.

Also, we're traveling quite a bit these days so it would definitely get delayed.

But I do think we could get genuine autographs onto some BW related something and then make those available.

I've been sick, but once I'm better I'll get on it (time permitting).

Oh Mike, you don't know how much it'll mean to us to have you guys autograph our Blair Witch memorabilia!! Cheesy It's something we'll treasure forever! Cheesy

Oh Luna, I'll mail you a copy, I promise. I think it's neat to see the house and you know at the very end of the film I was filming this huge vulture-like thing on top of a tree outside the house and I fell right off the entranceway, which is about two feet off the ground and that's where the tape ended. I thought it was funny so I left it that way. Wink

Mike, I can look and see if I still have any of the autographed Sundance posters that we were giving out to the old-school Haxan Board peeps back in '99.  I'm not sure, but I might....

E,
I love you, man, BUT....
You would be an absolute nutcase to part with ANY of the original Sundance posters (especially if like mine it is autographed by EVERYONE and has a letter of authenticity signed by none other than The Opinionator).
There is no way to value those things and are worth quite a bit of money.  I know because I actually questioned someone from an auction house who told me to hold onto mine.  I was told that since the original Sundance posters were such a limited run and even fewer were signed by the cast and crew, these suckers could go for HUGE bucks in the future.
Of course, I am emotionally attached to mine.

Sorry all of you non-Sundance poster owners for being the Grinch!

At this point it doesn't matter, 'cause all I could find was the one I'm framing, and it's not goin' anywhere.

*shrugs*

I looked, though!
