Ah, yes.. I remember it well. Founded by Nexus_7, Nightstalker, and RedBakersen... 'Middlefinger' and 'Jersey_Devil' were two other guys who worked on the site.  "strength in numbers", heh....


 I designed two of the logos used for the site. I also have the unique distinction of being the only person ever banned from its messageboard.

A big Freaky "Howdy" to johnwinters. Yeah, I remember Freaky Research. A noble effort but ultimately doomed to fail due to differing personality types trying to work together without a real focus for where they wanted to take the site. I lurked there, checking in on Freaky fandom, and the mind games and eventual meltdown were sort of painful to watch. I think SpaceMonkey got the bad end of things totally undeservedly. I'm glad the Haxan boards haven't ever been the hotbed of controversy that the Freaky Research boards became.

Glad you're here and make yourself at home among the Freaks.
