By the way, my take about showing the alien from the get go, Altered is NOT Blair Witch. Does haxan havew to repeat a single sucessful formula? That is one reason a lot of people hated BW2 (which I enjoyed because of its fresh take)
Altered is the most original take on aliens I have seen yet. While the basics has been told before, the way it all works is original as heck.

There was some input. Sure, it is flawed as heck. I do think it actually DOES work, to a point which is more than I can say for most of the majorly released garbage out there. I do like the idea of a totally different take without keeping within the original mythos but instead examining the fallout mode. That was a good think outside of the box type of deal.

Back to Altered, just got a free 26 inch TV, decided to give it a whirl from the DVD coming in. Absolutely repeatable watching.
So when is the soundtrack coming out?

I wouldn't have done BW2 the way it was done and I pretty happy Haxan had little to nothing to do with it.
 ehhhh... I actually, kind of, enjoyed BW2.  Of COURSE it's not as good as the original...but then again, I wasn't expecting it to be! I saw it in the theater (with no real expectations), and I just absorbed the creepy atmosphere. For what it's worth, I liked it... but I liked the soundtracks even MORE |

Yowch.. well, if it means anything I definitely liked Altered more than Blair Witch II. But, then I actually watched Altered to the end.  Yeah, Altered is a pretty good movie... some brutal stuff in that film. Geez, when the alien had that guy's intestines pulled across the floor, and started pulling more of them out and the guy made that sort of gulping, choking sound.. Ick...made my blood run cold. |

LoL... I'll have to snag a copy of Altered and watch it before I agree with you SpaceMonkey But I'm sure you're Probably right ( if ur comparing it with BW2). The trailer I saw on Youtube was really creepy and promising, so I'll have to get a copy somehow, somewhere... |

You said you wanted to get it somewhere, right? Amazon has it. Amazon is a pretty good supporter for anything Haxan- except FreakyLinks but that's a whole FOX Entertainment, INC. thing.
 Nice... and I like how affordable it is, too... As far as Amazon: "...supporting anything Haxan -except FreakyLinks... but that's a FOX...thing..." Like someone else mentioned: At least Amazon has FreakyLinks listed, and it appears to have generated buzz among amazon customers... There is alot of things I wish I could say about FOX here, but I won't. All I can say is that, after what they did to FreakyLinks and The X-Files, and Brisco County Jr., I've been unofficially boycotting their network. It's a good thing Adult Swim airs Family Guy episodes, or else I'd never watch it  |

I actually just got Altered in the mail because I bought it on DVD from Amazon... always amazing... though I wonder what the conclusion could be if there's a sequel.

I bought this on line out of curiosity. I wasn't sure what to expect. I was really impressed.
I liked alot of things about it.
I look for UFO sightings and stuff on you tube and I know a few credible type people that swear they've seen aliens space craft etc.
The origins of our existence is unprovable and for all we know we were seeded here by some inter galactic beings. It's a great subject that's wide open. I liked how when the guy closed his eyes there was aliens all around him. I also like the back story that was unfolding a revenge worth dying for. Awesome stuff. The characters were great. Each character was excellent. I've watched it several times and told friends to check it out. Looking forward to The Posession. Haxan Rules! Keep up the great work!!
