ALTERED is seemingly everywhere today.

'Took it upon myself to see who's stocking them, how many, and how the placement is.

Every major store I contacted and/or visited has it in stock, including Best Buy, Virgin, Suncoast, FYE, B&N, Borders, Target, Walmart, even Circuit City and several others.

The stores I checked physically had at least a dozen per store of not more, the shelving was sporadic.  Some (most) have it shelved in horror, but check Sci-Fi as well.  I also noticed it mistakenly shelved in Action for some odd damn reason (Circuit City).

But they all have it, and they all have quantity stock.

'Makes a great stocking stuffer dontchyaknow.  For those who want an ALTERnate gift fo course.

Didn't have time except to go to BEST BUY and try to buy my own damn film!  I saw it on the shelf, they had like ten copies, and then it just started pissing me off about how little marketing has been done and about how they should've at least let us put a commentary on the damn thing.

Then the line was REALLY long and I had to leave for the SECOND LIFE screening so I ended up walking out without it.

I still find it utterly appalling that you guys have to actually go out and BUY copies of your own films. But hey.....at least a portion of the profit is going to someone you like, right?

I tired out the local Walmart and Target out here in riverside county, neither had them and the closest best buy was a tad far so I ordered online at half.com. Can't wait!
