The time has also come to unleash the official filmsite of
SEVENTH MOON. You've waited long enough, and athough we had a production site online all the while, it isn't until now we've been able to truly release the guts of soul of
the festival of all festivals - the Hungry Ghost.
Synopsis, trailer, cast and crew, gallery, mythology and behind the scenes are all there, including the option to download to your iPod.
You'll also note the HAXAN site itself has been overhauled, as well as the
forum, with ashtrays cleaned and fresh beer in Rob's fridge (I think).
Everyone has been instrumental in getting this launched, thanks to Ed of course who keeps me raising the bar (or drinking in one, whichever comes first that day), but also to Gregg, Matt, Rob, Klaus and Johnny, who have all played a major role in getting SEVENTH MOON
online.

About 6 months ago I was invited to attend a film financing seminar at the Harvard Business School. Little did I know that this somewhat mind twisting experience would lead to a bloody smashed car! At the seminar I made a new friend - Chris - who was doing a project studying independent films. Long story short we talked for a time and exchanged emails. He introduced me to a friend of his David who was in Austin, Texas and had just completed a documentary film called Crawford (http://www.crawfordmovie.com). When we found we were to have our Worldwide Premier in Austin I called my new friends and asked if they'd help out with a little blood and gore. David, Chris, and another friend Nick set about putting up posters all around Austin and gathering tools for our task. It turned out that David had just retired his 20 year old Volvo and was willing to donate it to our film cause. Last night we gleefully took out our early festival stress by taking sledge hammers to the car and covering it in blood - ala the demons in Seventh Moon.
It was quite fun and seemed to cause quite a stir outside the theatre. If you're in Austin now it makes for a good pic. Any way - just wanted to give a shout out and thanks to my friends. We are all here now in Austin and the festival gets underway in earnest today.
