Eduardo Sanchez, director/ writer

Eduardo Sanchez was born in Colón, Cuba in 1968 and lived in Spain and New York before his family settled in Montgomery County, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C.  He studied Television Production at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD and received his BA in Motion Picture Production from the University of Central Florida in 1994.  Eduardo has been making films since he was 16-years old, including the award-winning independent feature Gabriel's Dream, which he shot in 1991 for $3,000.  In addition to co-writing, co-editing, and co-directing The Blair Witch Project, he designed and built the original BlairWitch.com website. Eduardo lives with his wife, Stefanie, their three children, Bianca, Lucas and Lennon, and a ridiculously large Star Wars collection in Urbana, Maryland.
