We found the HOUSE!!!
So we’ve been scouring the state looking for a house to set the film in for the last month or so and we finally hit pay dirt in Hagerstown, Maryland. It’s a REALLY old house, early 1700′s, that is surrounding by tons of land. Perfect setting for Molly’s house.
Pretty damn isolated. And creepy but not haunted house creepy. That would be too much for this film.
First thing I plan on doing is having the actors stay out here by themselves for a couple of nights. Maybe mess with them in the middle of the night.
Anyway, we’re pretty happy. Especially me, since I won’t have to go into any more old, vacant houses anymore. Seen my share of bug-infested joints, that’s for sure. And Jamie Nash had a slight run-in with a squatter when going into one place to take pictures. As he went in, a dude jumped out the second story window! Fun, fun, fun.
Just finished the latest pass on the script. Looking good. Doing a read-through of the script next week.
Rob Cowie arrives on Monday night.
About six weeks out from the shoot.
