From Sitges to Los Angeles
Sorry for the delay in updating the blog but Sitges, Spain turned into a visit with Ed in Maryland, then Miami for a panel for the Miami Film Festival, and now we’re getting ready for the American Fim Market.
The film ended up playing well in Sitges. Dan and Ed received a tribute on award night for The Blair Witch Project and Ed, Dan, and I huddled together as Dan introduced his film and Ed ours. We followed up the films with a few hours of dancing with our new Spaniard friends and then stumbled into our car to be driven back to the airport. Sitges was amazing and the film fans were really inspirational but a 4 day International travel schedule was a little tough. Nothing to complain about – we were so greatful to see the lines of people waiting to see the movie.
Next up is the American Film Market.
AFM brings together 400 production companies, over 500 motion pictures, including more than 100 world premieres, and over 8,000 industry professionals. After the Cannes Film Festival/market it is possibly the best venue in the world to sell the international rights of a film.
