WEEK TWO - Emotional roller-coaster PART I

Week two is done tonight. We've shot 35 of the 87 pages of the script in 11 days. Now the tough stuff begins. Last week ended well, another short night on DAY 6. We got home early and went straight to Rob's place to play WII. Gregg bought it for us to stay up late on nights we're not shooting. The thing is cool as shit. Tennis is our favorite. I'm developing quite a forearm return. The TV in the room was a bit small to play with four people so we bought a 42" LCD and had it delivered to Rob's room. They actually installed it into the wall, so I'm not sure how that's going to work out when we have to move out next month, but we'll see. Can't wait to get in there Saturday night and bring some major pain to the rest of the guys with my forearm BLAST! But enough WII crap. Started this week with some more challenging stuff than the first week. We're getting down to the nitty-gritty now, boys. Did some stuff at the Tiny Village that we had to remodel to work for the film. The art department did a tremendous job on it and Lam and his lighting crew gave me a huge area to work with in the village. Creepy stuff with Amy and Tim walking in to this seemingly deserted village. This wind kicked up right at this very crucial part of the scene and gave us some nice stuff for the end of the scene. We tried to copy the wind as much as we could for the remaining scenes. Will be a cool little moment if we can pull it off. A lot more to write about but I have to leave in five minutes. I'll get to the emotional roller-coaster thing on the next blog. Peace and have a great weekend. -ed
