Blair Witch Cast/Crew Reunion
This month, more specifically the weekend of October 21st, marks the 10th anniversary in shooting THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. Not the 10th anniversary of the film’s release of course, which comes in 2009. Rather - the anniversary of when Mike, Josh and Heather began their historic sojourn into the woods with crew managing and directing only yards away, unseen and unheard (mind for the occasional boom box and other assorted oddities).
That said, to celebrate such a milestone of an aged pile of filmmakers and actors, many of whom are now married with a plentiful giggle of children, we are inviting you to join us that weekend to meet and chat with the gang. Ed, Dan, Mike, Gregg, Rob, Matt, Michael, Joshua, Tony, Julia, Stef and a few others to be thrown in for good measure, maybe even the Duke, Binks, Tucker, Mia and Amelia will have a few words.
…or crayons.
Much is going on. As you well know SEVENTH MOON is currently shooting at this very writing and has a veritable reunion of old school Haxan on board, Myrick’s BELIEVERS comes out on the 16th (and OBJECTIVE recently wrapped along with Mike (Williams), who also just wrapped TOM AND MARLO and has just launched the BIG BLUE DOOR THEATRE COMPANY, and plenty more has occured with staff and crew. But let them tell you personally. It’s a good time to say hello and find out what the gang’s up to, share stories, and of course to reminisce the woods of Elly Kedward.
Because of major time-zone spreads from Hong Kong to New York to LA, we’ll post a schedule of who’s chatting and when as the weekend approaches. The chat will go live at 12 midnight on sunday (into monday). Access to the chat room will be open to the public and be accessible via the Haxan Info navbar to the left when the chat goes live.

So cool that a reunion is taking place. Wish I could be there. The Blair Witch has been my favorite horror flick since the day I saw it in 99. Best Wishes to all.

Wow this is awesome! The Blair Witch is honestly my favorite movie of all time, and I have followed all the actors (mike, josh, heather) and the directors (ed and dan) ever since in all of their projects. I will definately be here for this chat.

No one really died Tory, the story is a work of fiction. The design of the film was to give as realistic an impression that it was real. And that… is where the imagination kicks in.
Enjoy.
